I have questioned the direction of my life for as long as I can remember. Early on, I tried several paths for work (mainly in the arts and service) but I never became entirely defined by any one passion. I always loved seeking out adventure and new experiences, but I had a hard time making […]
In the early days of writing The Celestine Prophecy, I had many people telling me the project was impractical, even foolish. They declared that I was wasting my time when I should be looking for something more realistic. I agreed to some extent, of course. Writing a novel is always a gamble. But all the […]
It was 2006, I was twenty-three years old, and one Saturday afternoon my good friend, Jess, and I ventured out in search of some fun. After spending the week working in offices, we’d decided that going camping for the night, somewhere close by, may provide a nice backdrop to our weekend. So, with very little […]
Topic Discussion for The CV Community Radio Show 3/2/15 We are starting a new topic for the month of March on sharing our spirituality with others. This is important because our sense of certainty in who we are and what we are doing will be enhanced when we are open to our experiences. The […]

When I say, “spiritual,” I’m not talking about the decision to “believe” in God or not. Clearly, not as some old image of a bearded man sitting on a throne in the sky (an icon skeptics love to disparage). I am talking about connecting with a loving, tangible force deep within that feels undoubtedly spiritual […]
