Politics in both the Democratic and Republican party continues to be a parlor game of “Gotcha,” where party leaders and the press spar around tone and soundbites instead of solutions offered for the world’s problems. Curt putdowns are in play rather than honest debate.
In the US 2016 presidential season, we already see rudeness being offered to replace political correctness. Perhaps this height of absurdity will finally rally truthful Americans to demand authenticity from its politicians.
