Here is another technique I believe enhances Prayer Power:
Simply state the affirmative prayer in a way that assumes the problem or goal will come to a positive outcome. For instance say, “I am grateful for the blessing of continued good health.” The key is truly feeling the gratitude. It has to be genuine, and when it is, it “sets” the faith power without the cloudiness of doubt creeping in. In fact, this aligning step of gratitude may be the final piece necessary to integrate all these Spiritual experiences into one sudden epiphany – one that feels like a total embodiment of the divine intelligence within us.
5. A SENSE OF ULTIMATE PEACE AND WELL-BEING
I have called the experiences of Spirituality a “downloading” of our greatest self, because I believe this is how a genuine, Spiritual connection feels. We feel undivided with our sense of self, our level of competence in the world, our talents and expertise (not to mention the flow of Intuition and Synchronicity). It is as though we have acquired a new personality.
It is called everything from Nirvana to the Christ Conscious. This experience is identified across all religions and is always described in similar terms. Many emphasize a notion of having had a “breakthrough” moment, one that feels like an ultimate awareness that comes with a sense of complete, inner security. There are many others that use words such as “no matter what happens I feel safe, secure, and cared for.” Almost universally, this knowing exists alongside an emotional completion. One that seems like a universal, never-ending, and complete LOVE- “as if the full force of divine intelligence is suddenly looking through my eyes, and always will.”
Naturally, very few of us really know of anyone who is walking around in this state. All of us seem to be able to catch brief moments of it. I would call this experience a glimpse into the ultimate goal of human evolution as it plays out through history. In this sense, we can Intuitively confirm that it is possible and then pray for it, meditate on it, and seek to apply as much of this experience as possible. When we do, we seem to get, at the very least, an emotional resiliency that can always sustain us. No matter what challenges we might face, we can find a mystifying peace and love. In which, this allows us to come back from misfortune, and to reconnect with the flow of guided Intuition and Synchronicity that feels almost automatic.
Why go to all this trouble to discover and live the higher experiences of Spiritual awareness? Why not just listen to the skeptics, and pacify ourselves with the material pleasures of this life as often as we can, for as long as we can? The short answer is simply this… because we are wired for something more. If you do not slow down and seek this greater life now, you may wake up from your distractions and addictions too late. Missing out on the joy, and reward one can find in this life.
