The Importance Of Group Prayer
For centuries, religious scriptures, poems, and philosophies have pointed to a latent power of mind within all of us that mysteriously helps to affect what occurs in the future. We are now finding that this prayer power is a field of intention, which moves out from us and can be extended and strengthened, especially when we connect with others in a common vision.
Side by side with prayer power is the power of positivity. As we come together each month and pray as a group, we must also be aware of the “positivity” faith power that allows us to expand our spiritual awareness and keep the Synchronicity flowing. Always try to find an encouraging meaning for the events that happen in your life. I find this especially true for those events that seem negative. I look for a silver lining. There is always something in the event to build upon or from which you can learn more.
What’s the worst thing that can happen in this life? It is probably the death of a child. Every day, I hear from people who suffer this loss. Some go on to help others in similar situations or to create charities that help with the illness of which their child suffered.
If someone can handle this kind of loss, then most of us can handle the everyday setbacks of life with an assured reaction. For this is what sustains us in the upbeat flow toward a positive evolution which benefits the world.
Occasionally each of us, find ourselves off-track. I believe, in most cases, this situation occurs because of one simple mistake; we make a negative interpretation of an event in our lives.
We seem to be flowing just fine, following our highest Intuition when something occurs that stumps us, unexpectedly. The company gets sold, and we lose our jobs. A business associate turned out to be a crook. The project, we believe in, received a poor response from the public. As we evaluate these events negatively, we can become gravely ill.
These are the moments that test us, and determine if we sincerely believe the world is there to fulfill our dreams. If we turn even the slightest bit negative, the world responds and shifts to bring us what we seem to want, more negativity. Ever notice how bad luck comes in threes? Sometimes it can take that long to turn it around.
