PURSUE YOUR DREAMS
What Have You Been Prepared To Do?
This can be a difficult issue to tackle, but it is a vital factor. If you believe in Synchronicity — i.e. those meaningful coincidences that suddenly pop up to provide opportunities that move your life forward — then you have to look for them in your past too. Ask yourself, “Why did those particular friends I chose along the way come into my life? What did I learn from them? Why did I like certain teachers during my long trek through education, and not others? Why did I gravitate to particular subjects and ignore the rest?”
Look for patterns in the way these events have shaped your life. What made you choose your first job? How did you find all the others? Were they all just a coincidence, or were they spiritually preparing and guiding you for another purpose?
Perhaps everything that has happened to you in your life has, all along, been equipping you now to take another step ahead. Maybe they have been empowering you to become the person you are meant to be. Give all of this a deeper look and question everything in your life that have made you the person you are now. This will give you a feeling that you have a destiny that is unfolding, and clarify what you really want to do.
What Is Your Highest Intuition About Your Dream Job?
This is a question all of us need to meditate over at length. Have you ever caught yourself daydreaming about your dream? Did these thoughts give you a sense of excitement and inspiration? Ask yourself this familiar question, “If money was not an object, what would I do with my time?” In all actuality, you would do something, and it would not just be sitting around.
The soul needs to find its calling to be happy. We crave an inner energy that comes from being of true service and making a difference. And we hope to leave a good mark on the world when we are gone.
What Needs To Be Done?
Have you ever found yourself witnessing a corrupt practice in some human institution, and saying, “someone should do something about this.” Yes someone should, and possibly that someone is you. The human world is an imperfect place, filled with self-centered corruption everywhere one looks.
Doctors hold on to obsolete treatments that make them money when better alternatives could be obtained by a simple internet search. Food producers stuff their processed, cardboard food with hidden glutamates that fool our brains into thinking what we are eating is good. Politicians use their offices against citizens for brief and quick political gain.
Every industry and every political institution need an honorable makeover.
In the end, that is what the nagging pursuit of our dreams is all about. We are all here on a mission to save the world. It’s why our dream of doing something to help is so invigorating. We are all trying to remember our missions and get them done.
Don’t ever give up on yours.
