CREATING A SPIRITUAL GOOD-LIFE– PART II
This morning, I devoted some time to looking at past comments from members of our Facebook group. One stood out. The person was questioning how to distinguish an intuition from other thoughts, particularly fear thoughts. I found this question very relevant to this series on how to create a “Spiritual Good-life.”
In part one we covered how to begin to use our brain’s hard-wired ability to tune into our spiritual connection. Or to return to this connection if we lose it. As discussed, the first download of spirituality we receive is an inner sense of SECURITY AND PEACE. Finding this comforting emotional stability is a matter of using affirmative prayer and gratitude until it floods into us. When it arrives, it stabilizes our emotional reactions by allowing us to always come back to love (until love is our reigning emotion most all the time.)
But that is not all that comes when we tune in spiritually. Here in Part ll we are focusing on another download: a sense of “knowing” or “INTUITION” that we perceive once we are in that centered, peaceful Connection. (In later parts of this series, we will also discuss the other perceptions we get from tuning in, a flow of Synchronicity, and a sense of calling, or mission.)
What is important as we discover our guiding intuition is to recognize that these higher thoughts are different from ordinary ego calculations, and from fears. Once we clarify which of our thoughts are intuitions, we can use these intuitions to establish a more effective and fulfilling existence.
And, as our Peace connection stabilizes our emotional state, our guiding intuition stabilizes our thinking and decision-making ability at a higher level, with both leading to the Spiritual Good-life.
